President/C.E.O., Rachel Humphrey: "Don’t forget to check out the 4th article in our new series called Insights on page 10-11 by contributing writer, Marco J. van Daal.
As you know, we move our annual gathering to a different continent each year to make the time and cost of travel fair. This year, we are very excited to be heading to Costa Rica (see page 26). We have been speaking to our Members in the region and they are eager to promote business in their area. Our event will also be a fantastic opportunity for you to tag on sales calls in the Americas, or maybe a nice vacation!
We will also be encouraging Members to take advantage of our PCN Future: Under 30s Scheme as it is important that our younger staff become more visible and develop strong relations with other staff of similar age at their fellow PCN overseas offices. Read more.
Talking about visibility, have you seen our rotating top leader-board Banner Ad on the Breakbulk website? Or our eye-catching advert in the inside front cover of HLPFI's 10th Anniversary Special Publication? We enjoyed reading the HLPFI article on project networks and not only did they use a photo from our meeting, but PCN was mentioned in the opening and closing sections of the piece.
Since the start of 2018, over 30 staff have signed up to our 6-module online training course, which covers industry terminology, dimensions, weights and forces, heavy transport, heavy lifting, jacking, skidding and loadouts. We are delighted by the positive feedback we have received from our new eLearning Platform – from only £150 per user, don't miss out! See pcntraining.com for more details.
Our Digital Newsletter is distributed to our internal readership of 10,000+ staff worldwide and is also accessible to the 5000+ visitors per month to our website. Please note that we also invite external companies to subscribe by completing our online form - currently over 400 industry executives engaged in energy, construction, forwarding, shipping and ancillary industries have asked to regularly receive a copy.
If you would like to be featured in our next Digital Newsletter, simply email Sam details of an interesting shipment; new staff; opening of new offices and your Member collaborations (our favourite!).
Enjoy reading and have a great March."
