ISSGF India are pleased to share a report of a breakbulk shipment they recently completed from Mundra to Dammam.

The cargo included 445 pipes, which were loaded at the Port of Mundra.

The pipes had a total volume of 4627 CBM, and weighed an impressive 1225 MT. Individually, the pipes measured 12.5 meters long with a diameter of 0.7 meters.

ISSGF India covered a broad scope of work for this shipment, including:

  • Transportation
  • Port Intercarting
  • Customs Clearance
  • Operational Surveying

The main challenge for ISSGF India was to deploy twenty 40-ft trailers per day at the shipper's factory, which was smoothly executed with close follow-ups with the fleet owners and vendors.

"We deployed our nominated surveyor at the factory and at Mundra Port to ensure the pipes were being handled as per the SOP provided by the supplier to avoid any damage and delays."

Transportation was completed with a total of eighty-nine trips which were required to deliver all 445 pipes - within four days!
