"From humble beginning as a land transport and trucking company in 1965, Almajdouie Logistics moved its first heavy cargo in 1978 and is now considered the largest logistics service provider in the region as well as the heavy lift market leaders in Saudi Arabia with an 80% market share. With our own assets, more than 6,000 employees and a total area of 2million sqm of terminal and storage facilities in Saudi Arabia, we have executed over 200 mega projects in the past 3 decades.
Our services cover a wide spectrum of project logistics, heavy lift and supply chain management solutions. Dedicated teams of project management and business development as well as fleet service centres support our core services, allowing for a total integration of our tailored solutions. The role of our project management team is to oversee the successful execution of project shipments including consultation, liaising with government agencies to obtain required permits, DEL preparation, customs clearance, storage and transportation of project cargo including heavy and oversized to its final destination. We are also renowned for using our engineering capabilities and expertise in providing safe and economical solutions to a range of industries in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.
We operate the largest fleet of hydraulic trailers and SPMTs in the Middle East and have handled over 25,000 abnormal units. This track record shows that we are capable of the safe transportation of any kind of over-dimensional and overweight cargo. Every cargo movement is engineered and planned in detail through an extensive study including route surveys and route improvements to ensure maximum safety and efficiency throughout the entire delivery procedure with the best technical and economical solutions."
"To date, we handled the world's largest bullets and the largest evaporators in the region. The move of the evaporators made history by becoming the world record for 'the heaviest item moved by road' and was hailed as a landmark achievement in Saudi Arabia's history. Each of the 8 evaporators weighed almost 5,000tns and measured 124m long and 34m wide, which is roughly equivalent to the size of a football ground."
