Fairplay Shipping Handling Transport for Long-Term Windmill Projects

Fairplay Shipping are currently handling the deliveries of gas insulated switchgears and various pipes, connections, cables, gas cylinders etc. from different plants in Germany, Denmark and Poland to 4 different windmill projects - 1 off-shore site in Belgium and 3 on-shore sites in the UK (North Wales, Lancashire and Norfolk).

This is an ongoing project which will continue until the end of 2017 and Fairplay Shipping will coordinate and handle all operational matters throughout the assignment including loadings, trucking, delivery planning and offloading operations (mainly undertaken by cranes) at the 4 sites.

Sales & Business Manager, Henrik Askbo comments; "We are using many types of equipment for this project including mega trailers, standard trailers and special trailers. Since the beginning of the project, we have handled about 70 trailers so far and we expect to handle at least another 100 trailers during the next year before the project is finished at the end of 2017."
